Quotes for clinical and consulting services related to workplace mental
health issues can be obtained by contacting

Fees are as follows: Treatment Services (Non-Medical Legal): $160/hr;
Consultation/Assessment (Non-Medical Legal): $200/hr; Consultation/Assessment
(Medical-Legal/Disability-Related): $250/hr. Travel expenses will be
charged in addition to direct clinical/consulting service time. When
requesting a quote for services, please provide the following information:
(a) specific service required; (b) relevant background information; (c)
geographic location of employee/employer; and (d) information on any
previous assessments/consultations that have been conducted (e.g., nature
of assessment/consultation, dates of assessment/consultation).
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation fees are dependent upon the nature of clinical or consulting
service that has been booked. For direct treatment services, clients
will be charged the full rate for time booked in cases where less than
24 hours cancellation notice is provided. For consultation/assessment
services, partial fees for time booked may be charged in cases where
less than 10 working days’ cancellation notice is provided. Full rates
will be charged in cases where less than 48 hours notice is provided.

Scheduling an Appointment
Appointments can be scheduled by contacting
or
by calling (778) 772-7560. Please provide the following information: (a)
nature of services being sought; (b) name/age/phone number of all potential
client(s); (c) involvement of other treatment professionals, such as a
family doctor or psychiatrist; (d) requested time period for scheduling
an appointment; and (e) preferences for days/times for appointments. If
necessary, Dr. Samra will speak to potential client(s) by phone prior to
scheduling an appointment.
Fees
Rates are $160/hour for individual psychological treatment and $170/hour
for couples or family treatment.
Coverage
The BC Medical Services Plan (MSP) does not cover the services of registered
psychologists. However, if you have coverage under an extended health
benefits plan (e.g., Canada Life; SunLife; Pacific Blue Cross) some or
all of the costs of therapy may be covered. In some cases, therapy fees
may also be covered by Employee and Family Assistance Programs, Worksafe
BC, the Insurance Corporation of BC (ICBC), or by the Criminal Injuries
Compensation Program. Psychologist fees may also be claimed as an income
tax deduction, under Medical Expenses.
Payment
Payment is accepted following each session, by cash or check. A receipt
with Dr. Samra’s registration number will be provided following payment,
and may be submitted for reimbursement to an insurance carrier, if applicable.
Cancellation Policy
It is appreciated if as much notice as possible is provided in the event
that a client cannot attend an appointment. Clients will be charged the
full rate for time booked in cases where less than 24 hours cancellation
notice is provided.

Quotes for specialized assessments can be obtained by contacting

Fees are generally as follows: Assessments (Non-Court Related): $200/hr;
Assessments (Court-Related): $250/hr. Travel expenses will be charged in
addition to direct clinical service time. When requesting a quote for an
assessment, please provide the following information: (a) specific type
of assessment required; (b) relevant background information; (c) geographic
location of client(s) to be assessed; and (d) information on any previous
assessments that have been conducted (e.g., nature of assessment, dates
of assessment/consultation).
Cancellation Policy

has been booked. Partial rates for time booked may be charged in cases
where less than 10 working days’ cancellation notice is provided. Full
rates for time booked will be charged in cases where less than 48 hours
notice of cancellation is provided.

Costs will be dependent upon length, location and number of workshops scheduled.
Travel expenses will be charged in addition to direct workshop presentation
costs. When requesting a quote for a workshop(s), please provide the following
information: (a) specific workshop(s) requested; (b) background of target
audience (e.g., professional training, etc.); (c) estimated number of workshop
attendees; and (d) geographic location for workshop.
Cancellation Policy
